HALONG BAY

No trip to Vietnam would be complete without a visit to Halong Bay. The mystical bay with its 3,000 rocky outcroppings is truly a natural wonder of the world and well deserving of being one of Vietnam's four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The best way to see Halong Bay is via boat. You can choose between day trips on a traditional Vietnamese junk or a more luxurious multi day cruise on one of the many ships sailing the emerald green waters.

Sailing along the peaceful waters of the bay, one is captivated by the wonder and magic of the limestone islands carved by wind and water into every imaginable shape and of all sizes. Some of the islands have

pristine beaches, which are ideal for swimming. Others have intricate caves filled with stalagmites and stalactites that transport you into a different world once inside.

Best of all, is simply relaxing and enjoying the quietness and serenity of floating on the waters of this mystical place. The warm waters are ideal for swimming and at the end of a hard day of relaxing, fresh seafood caught off the end of the boat is a delicacy that will make your visit here a truly memorable experience.
